The Beginning of the End
Burst Noise is set in a cyberpunk world fifty years after a world-changing cataclysm. After portals opened all over the world, humans and animals alike began to transform into monsters not unlike the strange beasts that poured out from the alternate dimension. Wars were waged. Infrastructure collapsed. And when the other dimension went down, the resulting EMPs took out most of the world's technology. Right now everything is approaching stability... but it won't take much for it to all come crashing down.
THE BASICS
Burst Noise is primarily a Discord RP server, a post-apocalyptic part of the Scribophiles network. Other offerings include urban fantasy and westerns. We welcome writers of all styles and strengths, so long as they share the same passion for our world that we do, and help to keep it alive with play.

Before you join, be sure to read all of our rules. They can be located in the rules tab on the site, as well as in the server. For more information feel free to go through our website, although most of our information is available in our server. Characters are to be posted on the forum both to avoid the 2,000 character limit on Discord, and to allow editing and easy placement of images.
