Boons

Vehicle License :: Pure and Augmented Humans only. This license is tied to the user and the personal vehicle may be bio-locked. Often limited to motorbikes, highly respected Pure Humans and military personnel can have large-sized van-like vehicles.

Travel License :: Human only. Allows travel between cities. Typically single-use, very rare for non-political personnel. There are multi-use travel licenses and they're marginally cheaper than Hunter's Medallions, but impossible to obtain for Jinxed. Other carriers of travel licenses may be the owners of corporations, factories, or celebrities.

Skim-Boards :: Human only. Common transportation. These boards use electro-magnetism to easily glide along the metal-gridded cities. The daring can be found riding old skyscrapers.

IUM Translator :: Politicians, ambassadors, and the military are the only ones who can obtain these with ease. However, they are not bio-locked and can be traded or sold to just about anyone. Translates messages to and from Spawn. Rare, and exceedingly expensive. Most people don't bother, as their interactions with Spawn personally are minimal. Black market dealers occasionally get their hands on these rather than paying a Ravenger to get materials.

IUM Wetware :: Augmented and AI only. An Intra-User Messenger implanted into the temple, accessible in the form of a heads-up display.

Buzz :: Augmented and AI only. A high-grade lubricant for mechanical components, occasionally used to supplement and enhance fuel supplies. Due to the fact that it's imported from Zlat Co. on the opposite coast and difficult to produce, this product is rare in supply - especially in Terminus. It can be sold for quite a bit.

IUM Receiver :: An Intra-User Messenger, typically in the form of a touchscreen device but available in bracelets and more. An IUM receiver is not necessary if one already has wetware installed.

Outskirts

Ravenger Token :: The only people allowed to bring materials into and out of the city. Scavengers and gatherers. Typically Jinxed. There are a limited number of Ravenger tokens, and they can be traded freely. A large profit can be made re-selling Ravenger tokens.

Hunter’s Medallion :: The only people allowed to carry weapons within city limits and travel freely. Hunters of feral Re-Spawn and other unpleasant portal creatures. Typically Augmented or Jinxed. There are a limited number of Hunter’s Medallions and they can be traded freely, but must be carried at all times when carrying weapons. Re-Spawn and Portal Spawn are not allowed in cities and typically do not carry weapons, so tokens are not necessary. While an alternative to Travel Licenses, they are also exorbitantly more expensive. A large profit can be made re-selling Hunter’s Medallions.

Subground License :: Allows undercity travel (most are exceedingly massive, closer to city-states) Available to all races, but certain paths are human-restricted. A few hidden entrances allow for black market vendors to more readily smuggle goods, but tunnels are still heavily policed. The best way for Spawn and Humans to interact aside from the Outlands is in the Subground. (See 'Subground' for more info.)

Portal Pass :: Allows access to portal locations and other terraformed properties. Not necessary for Spawn, but often given to ensure the Spawn do not terraform or hunt outside of coordinates specified on the pass. Essentially this allows the holder to enter areas that are typically restricted, though they are still region-locked.

IUM Collar :: Spawn only. Recipient requires an IUM translator to be used over long distances. Otherwise, simplified messages display on the collar’s front. Clunky, but serviceable. Uncommon, but not rare.

Universal Items

Zine Tabs :: The most common and ubiquitous form of entertainment, Zine Tabs most closely resemble tablet computers. Zine Tabs can hold up to 3 Zines at a time, or 120 minutes of video. To change the Zines or video on the Tab, one has to go to a vendor specifically to exchange media. Some collectors have dozens of tabs in order to keep old back issues, and old tabs can fetch a decent price.

Unit Card :: A credit or debit card, essentially. The user can register numerous types of currency with a bank and have access to all of them on one unit card, without having to worry about converting chips to something else. The enterprising can have their unit card bio-locked to make it difficult to steal.

Chips :: Standard currency. Thin, rectangular metal sticks of varying sizes to indicate their value - 10,000, 1000, 100, 10. It's nigh-impossible to fake chips as all of them are coated with a thin material recognized by machines that's difficult to find outside of printing factories, as well as being decorated with complicated etchings. Still, there's always someone determined enough to scrape the film off and paint falsified 10,000 chips with it.

Currency :: Any type of currency outside of the standard. Nearly all sectors of all city-states use chips, but a few foreign countries and the slums dabble in other currencies. This can be caps, precious metals, and even a few countries still use paper money.
